ranches and Amish farms, kayaking and canoeing, outdoor flea
markets, golfing, hiking, biking, zip lines, horseback riding,
riding in an Amish buggy, swimming, carriage rides, etc…..
There are many indoor activities as well such as: shopping, flea
markets, antique malls, coffee shops with live music at night,
bistros, museums, wineries, cheese factory tours, greenhouses,
animal auctions, comedy theaters, dinner theaters, and many,

In addition to Amish Country,
there is much to see and do in the surrounding towns as well!
In Wooster Ohio, you can take in a play at the Ohio Light Opera,
explore the many unique shops and restaurants in downtown Wooster,
visit the Cat's Meow Village, taste various wines at Troutman's
Vineyard, enjoy a delicious meal at the Pine Tree Barn, hike
or fish at Brown's Bog and Shreve Lake, stroll through gorgeous
flower beds at Secrest Arboretum. For all those visiting The
College of Wooster, OARDC and ATI, we are only 25 minutes from
these college campuses. If you are visiting students at the College
of Wooster, OARDC, or ATI, we are just a short drive to these
campuses!
In Canton Ohio, you can visit some wonderful museums such as
the McKinley Museum and the First Ladies Museum. For football
fans, there's the Pro-Football Hall of Fame to tour. For some
great entertainment, you can enjoy the programs at the Canton
Palace Theater & the Players Guild Theater. Not to mention,
we are near Walsh University, Malone University, Kent State University,
and Stark State Colleges, if you are visiting these campuses.
Tuscarawas County provides many interesting attractions too!
Near New Philadelphia there is the village of Schoenbrunn, where
you can watch the outdoor drama Trumpet in the Land and White
Savage. Just a 10 minute drive from our lodge is the Dundee Waterfalls
in Tuscarawas County. In the historic village of Zoar, you can
tour this pioneer, communal town, eat at the Zoar Tavern &
Inn, Antoneio's Italian Restaurant, plus there is golfing at
Zoar Village Golf Course and canoeing, rails to trails bike paths,
and a dollhouse museum! Next to Zoar is the town of Bolivar,
where the first fort built in Ohio was located and you can tour
the Fort Laurens Museum. Then grab a bite to eat at the Canal
Street Diner.
