Sojourner Lodge and Log Cabin
Suites are situated in the heart of Ohio's Amish Communities.
Located in Holmes County, Ohio our suites are nestled on 20 acres
with a 3 acre lake. Sojourner's is family owned and operated
by Duane and Gwen Miller. We are 1 hour from Cleveland and less
than 2 hours from Columbus. And we are only 30 minutes from Canton,
Wooster, & New Philadelphia Ohio. As far as Amish Country
goes, we are 15 minutes from Berlin & Walnut Creek; 10 minutes
from Mount Hope & Kidron, 20 minutes from Sugarcreek, 25
minutes from Millersburg, and only 5 minutes from Winesburg,
Wilmot, & Mount Eaton.
At Sojourners you will stay in Amish Country, in a luxury suite
featuring top-of-the-line amenities such as Jacuzzis, Fireplaces,
kitchens, spacious living rooms, gorgeous master bedrooms, flat-screen
HD TV with Directv and Dvd players, outdoor fire pits, hiking
trails, and much more! Plus enjoy suites with Hand crafted, solid
wood furniture made by local craftsman, central air conditioning,
Direct TV with 100+ channels and amenities such as: coffee, teas,
creamer, & sugar, luxury linens and bathroom soaps are provided.

for our 3 year anniversary getaway and we are so glad we did!
We greatly enjoyed our stay and may have to make it an annual
thing. We got to be close to our family and that made it nice!

§ WOW! What a beautiful peaceful
place! Everything is wonderful. We loved cooking hot dogs on
the firepit and having breakfast on the deck! The landscaping
is lovely. I think every tree, shrub, and fern was planted in
the perfect spot. We came with 4 friends from Virginia and met
2 friends from Canton. The whole area is fun to tour and bike.
We even had dinner with an Amish family.

getaway for our 21st anniversary and it was wonderful! It’s
beautiful peaceful and so clean! I’m so sad to go home.

§ This lodge/cabin is absolutely
gorgeous! We have stayed at many places in this area over our
46 years and I would have to say this is probably one of THE
best places! Enjoyed spending time with our neighbors next door
at the firepit. The touches you have added: firepit, landscaping,
trails, etc… are things you don’t have at other places.
Good job guys!!! We will definitely return!

§ The sister’s
adventure this year included our mother and 3 sisters and we
loved Sojourner’s Lodge & Log Cabin Suites!
The location and property are beautiful and the cabin is perfect
in every detail. We had terrific cool weather and slept with
the windows open at night. We spent 2 days exploring Berlin &
Walnut Creek shops & Amish food. Make sure you go outside
on the trails & build a fire at night. We had a great visit!

Dear Miller Family,
§ I've been meaning to drop you a line ever since we came
back from our stay at your place on December 5th. We had such
a good time. The place was wonderful and even better than we
expected. It was so nice to have the whole cabin to ourselves.
Everyone commented on how it felt as comfortable as being at
home. Usually when you stay somewhere you hate to sit on the
floor, etc. and we had no qualms about anything there. Seeing
that there were 8 of us we are reluctant to share our experience
with anyone because we figure we'll never be able to get back
into the place when your secret gets out about what a great place
it is but being women we'll never be able to keep it to ourselves.
We are all looking forward to coming back together as well as
with other friends. You've really got a wonderful place there
for anyone who just wants to settle back and enjoy the peace
and quiet. I look forward to coming back when we can enjoy the
fire pit on a cool autumn evening. Thanks again for a great stay.

§ Got here late, so we didn’t see the
beautiful landscape until morning. The suites are gorgeous. We
love the look and the smell of the wood interior. Very quiet
and peaceful. All the furniture and appliances are of the highest
quality. This was a great place to stay. Will definitely try

§ My girlfriend & I decided to spend our one year anniversary
here. It was a great decision. It was peaceful and romantic,
really captivated everything I was looking for. I think we have
decided to come here annually because of how much it encompasses

§ This was my third time here and it was everything that
I had hoped for. This time I came by myself for a little relaxation
and distressing. I caught up on some much needed sleep and reading,
went shopping in Walnut Creek, Berlin (my favorite!) and Sugarcreek
and watched (and cried!) at many chick flicks. The quiet atmosphere
is so different than what I am used to. The room is amazing and
worth the price. Now it is time to pack up and go back to reality

§ As I look out the dining room window, sitting
at this beautiful hickory table, I see the rolling hills, trees,
barns, horse and buggies, and frozen cornfields here, not only
in the heartland of Ohio, but also America. We chose this spot
by looking at a map in search of privacy and solitude, which
is just what we have found. Tell me a finer spot east of the
Mississippi: The Homestead in Hot Springs, VA, Goose Bay near
Acadia National Park in Maine, the condo at Fort Myers, FL? Sorry
none of them can hold a candle to Sojourner’s Lodge!

§ My wife and I wanted to enjoy some quiet time before Christmas.
It’s a hectic time for our family with my mother-in-law’s
birthday being on Christmas Eve and my wife’s birthday on
Christmas day. This was the perfect little getaway. We really
enjoyed the suite-the fireplace was wonderful. Everything was
perfectly clean, very comfortable bed and the Jacuzzi was very
relaxing! This was the perfect spot in a beautifully quiet area!
