Sojourner Lodge and Log Cabin
Suites are within close proximity to Ohio's Amish Communities.
Located in Holmes County, Ohio our suites are nestled on a 20
acre site with a 3 acre lake. Sojourner's is family owned and
operated by Duane and Gwen Miller.
At Sojourners you will stay
just outside of "Amish Country" but enjoy tastefully
decorated suites with Hand crafted, solid wood furniture made
by local craftsman, central air conditioning, Direct TV with
100+ channels and amenities such as: coffee, teas, creamer, &
sugar, linens and soaps are provided.

over the summer and I was just sitting here this morning remembering
how wonderful our stay was. I want to thank you again for helping
us to continue the joy of being married for 20 years! We loved
your beautiful lodge! You take immaculate care of everything

Just as cozy as our old Favorite, Log Cabin Suite A. This is
our 4th time here in a year. Thank you for another wonderful

by a spectacular view! We enjoyed watching the Canada geese while

§ I brought my youngest daughter here to this
suite last October and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. So this
October I came back with 2 of my friends and we enjoyed one of
your log cabin suites last week. Next week, Lord willing, my
youngest daughter and I will be back! For today, Brooke and I
are appreciative of some "alone time" in such a "far
away" place. (Brooke is my oldest daughter.)
What a great start you both have with such a wonderful place
to let your son explore and grow up.

§ Thank you so much for such a fabulous time
in the cabin. It is simply gorgeous and peaceful here and exactly
what we needed. You were so hospitable and extremely helpful
and we appreciated it. Three nights was not enough time here
so we are already planning our next trip back. And the fire pit

Dear Miller Family,
§ I've been meaning to drop you a line ever since we came
back from our stay at your place on December 5th. We had such
a good time. The place was wonderful and even better than we
expected. It was so nice to have the whole cabin to ourselves.
Everyone commented on how it felt as comfortable as being at
home. Usually when you stay somewhere you hate to sit on the
floor, etc. and we had no qualms about anything there. Seeing
that there were 8 of us we are reluctant to share our experience
with anyone because we figure we'll never be able to get back
into the place when your secret gets out about what a great place
it is but being women we'll never be able to keep it to ourselves.
We are all looking forward to coming back together as well as
with other friends. You've really got a wonderful place there
for anyone who just wants to settle back and enjoy the peace
and quiet. I look forward to coming back when we can enjoy the
fire pit on a cool autumn evening. Thanks again for a great stay.

§ We shared a wonderful memory here at Sojourner's
Cabin, with brisk morning hiking through the woods and pond to
warm and cozy moments in the beautiful cabin. Everything was

§ Got here late, so we didn’t see the
beautiful landscape until morning. The suites are gorgeous.
We love the look and the smell of the wood interior. Very quiet
and peaceful. All the furniture and appliances are of the highest
quality. This was a great place to stay. Will definitely try
to get back here.

scenery at Sojourner’s Lodge. It’s so good to get away

§ My girlfriend & I decided to spend our one year anniversary
here. It was a great decision. It was peaceful and romantic,
really captivated everything I was looking for. I think we have
decided to come here annually because of how much it encompasses
what we both needed!

§ This was my third time here and it was everything that
I had hoped for. This time I came by myself for a little relaxation
and distressing. I caught up on some much needed sleep and reading,
went shopping in Walnut Creek, Berlin (my favorite!) and Sugarcreek
and watched (and cried!) at many chick flicks. The quiet atmosphere
is so different than what I am used to. The room is amazing
and worth the price. Now it is time to pack up and go back to
reality fully refreshed. Thank you for such a great time! I
plan to be back again with the boyfriend and for another solo

§ This was our first time here and we had a great peaceful
time. This is the perfect place to unwind and relax. I think
both of us would agree that the quiet atmosphere out here is
amazing. The beautiful view, architecture of the lodge and the

§ As I look out the dining room window, sitting
at this beautiful hickory table, I see the rolling hills, trees,
barns, horse and buggies, and frozen cornfields here, not only
in the heartland of Ohio, but also America. We chose this spot
by looking at a map in search of privacy and solitude, which
is just what we have found. Tell me a finer spot east of the
Mississippi: The Homestead in Hot Springs, VA, Goose Bay near
Acadia National Park in Maine, the condo at Fort Myers, FL? Sorry
none of them can hold a candle to Sojourner’s Lodge!

stay at your lodge for our 45th wedding anniversary. What a

§ My wife and I wanted to enjoy some quiet time before Christmas.
It’s a hectic time for our family with my mother-in-law’s
birthday being on Christmas Eve and my wife’s birthday on
Christmas day. This was the perfect little getaway. We really
enjoyed the suite-the fireplace was wonderful. Everything was
perfectly clean, very comfortable bed and the Jacuzzi was very
relaxing! This was the perfect spot in a beautifully quiet area!
