A quiet country retreat, located in Ohio Amish Country For reservations call: 330-359-5320                           Sojourner's Lodge Suites  Sojourner's Lodge is a new, cedar-sided lodge, with 4 beautiful, immaculate suites inside. Surrounded by woods and rolling farmland, while overlooking our 3 acre lake, the lodge is superbly located on 20 acres in the hills of Ohio Amish country.   Watch the birds at the lake or the horses in the fields from our New, Stone Courtyard with a cedar Pergola located in front of the lodge, facing the lake. Spend the evening laughing with friends or snuggled up with your special someone by our New Stone Fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Deluxe Lodge Suite 101   From the gorgeous log beams and wainscoting, the picturesque nature paintings, and the wonderfully carved log furniture, step into a lodge suite and feel as if you are in the privacy of a log cabin. The local craftsmanship of the beautiful hickory kitchen cabinets adds to the log cabin feel of this suite. Suite 101 comes with a fully equipped kitchen featuring: refrigerator with ice machine, dishwasher, glass cooktop, microwave, pots and pans, silverware, dishes, and coffeemaker with complimentary coffee, teas, cream, and sugar. To go with the hickory cabinets, the dining room has a matching hickory dining room table with four chairs    Relax on the forest green sofa and loveseat in the spacious living room, underneath a log trey ceiling. Turn on the soft lighting in the log ceiling to highlight the woodwork and enjoy an evening in front of a log designed gas/electric fireplace. The fireplace is adjusted with the touch of a button from a remote control. With directv and a dvd player, you can snuggle up in a cozy atmosphere, watching your favorite movie or show.  . Deluxe Suite 101 comes with two private master bedrooms, each bedroom has a queen size bed. Both master bedrooms are designed with log ceilings and log furniture, handcrafted locally out of lodge pole pine   The nature décor and warm, natural colors on the bedding bring out the rustic, nature theme of this suite.    The mocha colored bathroom offset with the sparkling white tiled two-person Jacuzzi, and white tiled floor, come together to add style and luxury to this bathroom. This is a full bathroom with Jacuzzi and 48" shower.   The beautiful, rustic log design, the glowing fireplace and luxurious Jacuzzi make this a great suite for 2 people to escape to. However, with the two private master bedrooms and the spacious living area, it can be perfect for 2 couples to come and enjoy time visiting together     Deluxe Lodge Suite 102  This is another spacious lodge suite that was designed to resemble a log cabin. Every ceiling and wall is trimmed with log beams and log wainscoting, giving it that luxurious, cabin appeal. Deluxe suite 102 features a full kitchen with locally handcrafted, hickory cabins and a dining room with a matching hickory table and four chairs. In this full kitchen you will find: a refrigerator with ice machine, a dishwasher, a glass cooktop, microwave, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, coffeemaker and complimentary coffee, tea, cream and sugar.       The living room is adorned with beautiful campfire pictures, which compliments the log trey ceiling and the autumn red sofa and loveseat. With the glow from the gas/electric fireplace, surrounded by the dimly lit log décor, you will feel like you are in a cabin tucked away in the woods. The living room also has directv and a dvd player.    Lodge suite 102 comes with 2 private master bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. Each master bedroom is decorated with log ceilings, log wainscoting and log furniture, which is handcrafted locally.   Softly light up these bedrooms with sconce lighting, and snuggle up under the cabin style quilts in your queen size bed. To go along with the campfire theme, the full bathroom is painted a midnight blue. This midnight blue bathroom comes with a 48" shower and a 2 person Jacuzzi. Deluxe Lodge Suite 102 is perfect for a romantic getaway or a friends getaway.     Deluxe Lodge Suite 203    The perfect suite for a romantic getaway! Adorned with log ceilings, log beams, wainscoting and log furniture, this suite will make you feel like you are in a cabin built for two. Snuggle up on the forest green sofa in front of a cozy fireplace with your special someone, watching a movie on the dvd player or on directv. Adjust the temperature of the gas/electric fireplace with a touch of a button from a remote control.  Enter your beautiful master bedroom through a log archway. The walls of the master bedroom are painted a luxurious brick red and with the dim sconce lighting, you can highlight the beauty of the log ceilings and walls.      The black and white pictures in the master bedroom and bathroom add a touch of elegance to this suite.  Painted a romantic brick red, the full bathroom includes a 2 person Jacuzzi and a 48" shower.   With a full kitchen, you can enjoy a romantic meal without having to leave your suite. The full kitchen comes with a refrigerator with ice machine, glass cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, silverware, pots and pans, dishes, coffeemaker and complimentary coffee, teas, cream and sugar. Also, this suite has a hickory bar stool table with 2 barstools. Share a special weekend together tucked away in this luxurious lodge suite.       Deluxe Lodge Suite 204 Deluxe Lodge Suite 204 is a luxurious suite with a spectacular view! Stepping into this Deluxe Lodge Suite, you will be amazed by the beautiful log woodworking! Designed with log beams, log wainscoting and log furniture, this deluxe suite creates the perfect rustic atmosphere with all the added luxuries. A log archway leads the way into the living room and dining room area.    The living room was designed with pine ceilings featuring log beams and log wainscoting that compliment the log fireplace and log coffee table. Enjoy cozying up by the toasty fireplace on the beige sectional sofa. Watch a good movie in the Dvd player or your favorite show on Directv with the large, flat screen, hi-def TV. In addition, the three log dormer seats add a country appeal and these dormer seats look out at our woods, where you can watch a variety of birds in the birdfeeder. This spacious living room offers a great place to sit and relax with friends or snuggle up with your special someone.  In the dining room, you’ll love the view, with two large windows that overlook our lake, Amish farmlands and the country roads. Sip on our complimentary gourmet coffee, while watching the farmers plow their fields, the horses graze in pastures, geese and ducks on the lake or the Amish buggies going down our country road. From the striking tile floor to the Amish handcrafted, hickory dining room table, the dining room is perfect for a morning breakfast, a peaceful lunch or an evening candlelit dinner.     Suite 204 comes with a fully equipped kitchen. Locally handcrafted, hickory cabinets beautify this country kitchen. Equipped with a refrigerator with ice machine, dishwasher, glass cook top stove, microwave, toaster, pots & pans, dishware, silverware, and much more, you can enjoy many meals cooked from your own suite. While cooking you can enjoy the view from two kitchen windows that overlook the lake and valley below. Take your meal outside to the wrought iron table and sit on your own spacious, private, 2nd story deck, while taking in the breathtaking scenery beyond!   This suite comes with two private master bedrooms! Each master bedroom portrays the beauty of Ohio’s country sides! Adorned with rural photographs taken from the hills and farmland of Holmes County and the surrounding counties, these master bedrooms bring to life just some of reasons why people fall in love with Amish country. With the rustic, cabin style quilt & the log queen bed, you can snuggle up under the covers and feel like you are miles away from everywhere. In the first master bedroom, the tan walls harmonize well with the country décor and log furniture and in the evening you can add a soft glow with the sconce lighting and wake up to the soft light through the dormer window. This master bedroom is decorated splendidly with professionally framed black & white photographs taken of rural Holmes County by a local artisan, which adds to the country theme of this suite.      Softly lit by sconce lighting, the 2nd master bedroom is the perfect combination of rustic meets romance. The autumn red walls match wonderfully with county décor and the cotton quilt. The 2nd master bedroom is also characterized by the log cabin look and the photograph in this suite celebrates the beauty of horses. The charming painting of two horses nuzzling enhances the romantic theme of this bedroom. Horses make up such a huge part of Amish country and Ohio’s countryside, therefore we wanted to celebrate the beauty & loving nature of these creatures! Illuminated by beautiful, black iron lighting, the master bath is wonderful place to close your eyes & unwind. The white, smoky grey tile along with the red walls depicts the romantic essence of the master bathroom!  Relax in the two person Jacuzzi, while the jets massage your body. Along with the 2 person Jacuzzi, this bathroom also features a 48" shower.
