Embarq on Your Fall Adventure in Amish Country!

Fall in Amish Country is filled with a flourish of fun and yum! So put on those Fall boots and your favorite flannel and head on over to Amish Country for a great time!

Here’s a list of some things to do in Amish Country this Fall:

1.) Orchards. Two popular orchards in Amish Country are Hillcrest Orchard in Walnut Creek and Sunny Slope Orchard north of West Lebanon. Fill up your car with apples, cider, Fall veggies, caramel corn, and many more delectables that these orchards carry!

o An 1868 Dutch bank barn overlooking the Killbuck Valley & family Christmas tree farm. Restored into gift shops, a home furnishing & design studio, gourmet luncheon restaurant & women's boutique. I have eaten here several times and absolutely love it and the view from the outside veranda is amazing!!!

3. J.A. Reeves House. New Philadelphia, Ohio.

o Return to the elegance of the late 19th century by visiting the Reeves Victorian Home and its adjoining Carriage House Museum, located in Dover, Ohio. This opulent mansion, the former residence of prominent Dover industrialist, Jeremiah E. Reeves, is owned and operated by the Dover Historical Society. I have not visited this museum but have driven past it many times. It is gorgeous just to look at from the outside! And some of our guests have gone there and loved it!
