Things to know before your stay


Check-in Information:

  • Check-in: 3-8 PM, EST unless prior arrangements are made. Please call to set up a later check-in time.
  • Check-out: 11 AM, EST
  • Our front offices are located on the same property as our lodge and cabin suites. We have two front offices. One at the Sojourner’s North Suites and one at the Sojourner’s South Suites. Only one front office will be open at a time. Please, follow the front office signs when you enter the driveway. This will direct you where to go. Please, come to the front desk to do the paperwork, get your room keys, and find out where your suite is located.


Sojourner's Lodge & Log Cabin Suites’ Policies
By staying at Sojourner's Lodge, you assume responsibility for the following:
 

  1. All of our suites are NON-SMOKING. Tobacco smoking is permitted outside. If it is reported that a smell from cigarettes or marijuana is coming from a suite in the lodge or cabin, Sojourner’s reserves the right to enter your suite (and all suites) to determine where the smell is coming from.
  2. No Pets. We do not allow pets.
  3. Responsible for Damages: You are responsible for any damages to Sojourner's Lodge property. Damages such as: destruction of property, mistreatment or misuse of property. (including carpet & upholstery stains)
  4. Noise Level to a Minimum. You will be respectful of other guests and keep the noise level to a minimum at all times. Indoors and outdoors. Outside conversation is to be kept at a respectful level so as not to disturb other guests and our neighbors. Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 9 AM.
  5. No Music Outdoors. Music outdoors is not permitted. Not on decks or patios either. If you are playing music indoors that can be heard outdoors, you will be asked to turn it down.
  6. Number of guests is the number given when the reservation was made. You agree that the number of people staying in your group is the number that you told the S.L. office prior to your check-in date and it is the number indicated when the reservation was set up. (This includes all adults and children.)
  7. No Visitors are allowed (unless permitted by the S.L. office prior to your check-in date)
  8. The fire pit curfew and outside curfew is 10 PM. No one is to be outside making noise or having a loud conversation after 10 PM. (The fire pit is closed from Dec. 1st to Mar. 31st.)
  9. Our property and buildings are under 24-hour video surveillance. We closely monitor vehicles and people entering and leaving the property and the suites at all times. Our front desk office is located on the property and there is a person there at all times. Do not try to have additional guests or visitors as we will notice and they will be asked to leave immediately.
  10. Zero Tolerance for parties. Do not invite people over for a party as this is in direct violation of our policies. Only the number of people who were originally permitted to stay when the reservation was set up will be allowed on the property. All visitors or extra guests will be asked to leave immediately.
  11. If you have more than 2 vehicles, we need to know this ahead of time. At check-in time, we require the make and model of the vehicles for your suite and their license plate numbers.
  12. No fishing or swimming is permitted in the pond.
  13. Obey all property line signs and do not trespass on our neighbor’s property.
  14. Security Deposit. A security deposit of $200 will be held on your credit card two weeks prior to your check-in date. The security deposit for the Ranch Home is $350. This security deposit is for damage and policy protection. If your suite has not incurred any damages or has not been mistreated and you have abided by all of our policies; the hold will be released back onto your credit card after you check-out.
  15. Group Reservations: Groups with more than 8 people must call to set up a reservation. If you have more than 8 people, do not book multiple suites for your group online. You must call the front office to make a reservation.
  16. Sojourner’s Right to Cancel Your Reservation at Any Time. We reserve the right to cancel or change any reservations that do not meet our reservation requirements and our policies.


If you fail to comply with any of our policies, we reserve the right to tell you and your group to leave the property at that time without a refund and you will
lose your security deposit. Any damages or destruction of property will be reported to law enforcement.

Reservation Information:

  • Reservations are held with credit cards. Two weeks prior to your arrival date, we do charge a 50% deposit on the credit card that is on file. (If you reserve 2 or more suites, we charge the deposit 20 days prior to your check-in date.)
  • Rates are subject to state and local taxes and to change.
  • We accept Cash, Visa, Master card, Discover, American Express, and Debit Cards at check-in time.
  • Gift certificates are available.
  • Cancellation notice required-see the Cancellation Policy below.

Our Cancellation Policy: (If you reserve one suite)

  • 15 days or More notice: No Cancellation Fee
  • 14 to 8 days cancellation: You lose your 50% deposit, unless we can fill your suite for the days you have reserved.
  • 7 days or less: The total cost of your stay is charged, unless we can fill your suite for the days you have reserved.

Our Cancellation Policy: (If you reserve two suites or more)

  • 21 days or More notice: No Cancellation Fee
  • 20 to 15 days cancellation: You lose your 50% deposit, unless we can fill your suite for the days you have reserved.
  • 14 days or less: The total cost of your stay is charged, unless we can fill your suite for the days you have reserved.

At Sojourner's Lodge we do our best to understand if you need to cancel your reservation, therefore if you cancel your reservation and we are able to fill your suite, then we do not charge you a penalty, except for a 10% cancellation fee with a minimum charge of $10. 

NOTE: If you made your reservation through a third-party website (Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking, Vrbo, etc.), you are subjected to the cancellation policy posted on those sites for our company and also the time frame in which they charge your room charges and fees.
