Things to know before your stay


Check-in Information:

  • Check-in Time: 3-8 PM, ET. Later and earlier check-ins may be accommodated but you must call the Sojourner's Office no later than noontime on the day of your arrival to set this up.
  • Check-out Time: 11 AM, ET.
  • Front Office: Our front office is located on the same property as our lodge and cabin suites. Follow the office signs.

Please come to the front office to do the paperwork, get your room keys, and find out where your suite is located. 


Sojourner's Lodge & Cabin Suites Guest Policies
By staying at Sojourner's Lodge, you agree to comply with the following policies:

 

  1. Smoking Prohibited Indoors
    All suites are non-smoking. Smoking of tobacco is permitted outside only.
  2. Marijuana Smoking Prohibited
    Marijuana smoking is strictly prohibited on the premises. This includes all indoor and outdoor areas.
  3. No Pets Allowed
    For the comfort of all our guests, pets are not permitted on the property.
  4. Responsibility for Damages
    You are responsible for any damage caused to Sojourner's Lodge property during your stay. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to furniture, carpets, upholstery, or any other lodge property.
  5. Respectful Noise Levels
    Please maintain a respectful noise level at all times, both indoors and outdoors. Conversations and activities should not disturb other guests or neighbors. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 9 AM.
  6. No Outdoor Music
    Music is not permitted outdoors on patios, decks, or other areas. If music played indoors is audible outside, we will ask you to turn it down immediately.
  7. Guest Count
    The number of guests staying in your suite must match the number provided at the time of booking. This includes both adults and children.
  8. No Visitors Without Prior Approval
    Visitors are not allowed unless specifically authorized by Sojourner’s Lodge prior to your check-in.
  9. Fire Pit and Outdoor Curfew
    Fire pit curfew is 10:30 PM. The fire pits are closed from December 1st to March 31st.
  10. 24-Hour Video Surveillance
    Our property is under 24-hour video surveillance. We monitor all entrances, exits, and activity on the premises. Our front office is staffed at all times. Unauthorized guests or visitors will be asked to leave immediately.
  11. Zero Tolerance for Parties
    Sojourner’s Lodge enforces a strict no-party policy. Only the number of guests specified during your reservation are permitted to stay. Extra guests or visitors will be asked to leave.
  12. Vehicle Monitoring
    Each suite is permitted a maximum of two vehicles. If you require more than two vehicles, please notify the office in advance.
  13. No Fishing or Swimming in the Pond
    Fishing and swimming are not permitted in the pond.
  14. Respect Property Boundaries
    Please respect property line signs and stay within the boundaries of the lodge property to ensure the privacy and safety of our neighbors.
  15. Security Deposit
    A security deposit of $200 is required. It is held on your credit card two weeks prior to check-in. For the Ranch Home, the deposit is $350. Provided no damage or violations of policy occur, the deposit will be refunded after your suite is inspected and cleaned.
  16. Group Reservations
    For groups of more than 8 people, please contact the Sojourner's Lodge office prior to booking. We limit the number of children per group.
  17. Right to Cancel Reservation
    Sojourner’s Lodge reserves the right to cancel or modify any reservation that does not comply with our policies or reservation requirements.


Failure to comply with any of these policies may result in immediate eviction from the property without a refund, and forfeiture of your security deposit. Any damages to property will be reported to law enforcement.

Reservation Information:

  • Reservations held with credit cards. Two weeks prior to your arrival date, we do charge a 50% deposit on the credit card that is on file. (If you reserve 2 or more suites, we charge the deposit 20 days prior to your check-in date.)
  • Rates subject to state and local taxes and to change.
  • We accept Cash, Visa, Master card, Discover, American Express, and Debit Cards at check-in time. 
  • Gift certificates are available.
  • Cancellation notice required-see Cancellation Policy below. 

Our Cancellation Policy: (If you reserve one suite)

  • 15 days or More notice: No Cancellation Fee
  • 14 to 8 days cancellation: You lose your 50% deposit, unless we can fill your suite for the days you have reserved.
  • 7 days or less: The total cost of your stay is charged, unless we can fill your suite for the days you have reserved.

At Sojourner's Lodge we do our best to understand if you need to cancel your reservation, therefore if you cancel your reservation and we are able to fill your suite, then we do not charge you a penalty, except for a 10% cancellation fee with a minimum charge of $10.

Our Cancellation Policy: (If you reserve two suites or more)

  • 21 days or More notice: No Cancellation Fee
  • 20 to 15 days cancellation: You lose your 50% deposit, unless we can fill your suite for the days you have reserved.
  • 14 days or less: The total cost of your stay is charged, unless we can fill your suite for the days you have reserved.

NOTE: If you made your reservation through a third-party website (Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking, Vrbo, etc.), you are subjected to the cancellation policy posted on those sites for our company and also the time frame in which they charge your room charges and fees.
